Obituary for Stanley John "Stan" Malarz
Malarz, Stanley John - August 10, 1963- March 21, 2017
Peacefully at home surrounded by his family and friends, with the sun shining on his face, Stan passed away. Loving husband and best friend to Michele(Burns). Beloved son of John and Helen Malarz. Honoured and cherished son in law to Mary Burns and John and Robin Burns. Much loved brother of Rosemarie(Maurice) Laflamme and Janet(Tim) Cramp. Cherished and respected brother in law to Lisa(Kim), Karen Anne(Brent) and Stephen. Proud uncle to Julianne(Dan), Jolene(Keith), Jackie(Trevor),Bill(Jill), Emma(Michael), Abbey and Jacob. He loved them all as his own. Stan was a proud, hard working employee of General Motors for 34 years. He loved his wife, family, friends and fishing. He enjoyed his life and all the people he was blessed to share it with. His strength, courage, kindness and gratitude during his battle with cancer was admired by all who knew him. He will be forever missed by Michele, his wife of 22 years. Resting at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with visitation on Friday March 24th from 1 – 5 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church on Saturday March 25th 2017 at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society along with condolences by visiting www.armstrongfuneralhome.net.
