Condolence From: Florence & David Pask
Condolence: Nina & Kate, The news of Jean Pierre's passing was anticipated but nonetheless a painful reminder of our own mortality. We offer our condolences.
We have many happy memories of our frequent visits to you both when we lived in West Virginia. We needed no maps the cars knew the way. we particularly remember when Andre, Denise, Evangeline, Florence & I arrived and spilled out from ur small Audi for afternoon tea at Tresane Street. We were always amazed at the produce and flowers from every corner of your garden.
it was a pleasure to meet your family and friends Nina & to join you for a leisurely & beautiful lunch at the Baton Rouge. Thank you for the hospitality. We will meet again. Florence & David.

Condolence: Dear Kate and Nina, Sorry that we have never met although we are thankful for having at least been with Jean-Pierre when he was last in Mauritius, some 4/5 years ago - that was after a separation of over 45 years. Please receive all our condolences and we hope that you will go through those difficult times with courage. May he rest in peace.

Condolence From: Nick & Jocelyne Horniman
Condolence: Dear Nina & Kate
We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Jean Pierre while we were in UK where news of his passing only reached us by email yesterday. Jocelyne has very fond memories from childhood - one of which was his giving her a bar of chocolate to keep quiet for a couple of hours when they were at the beach in Trou d'Eau Douce very many years ago at a time when life was so carefree for all us cousins. The other was memory of his generosity on a Sunday morning after church at his parents home in Curepipe Road when he would spent all his pocket money buying from Parsad the ice cream man for all those cousins present. What a happy reunion it must have been for your mother to see her Jean Jean again. Go in Peace JP

Condolence: I'm so sorry and saddened to hear this news of my almost twin cousin Jean-Pierre. My heart is full of grief of news of his passing. I wish all his family strength and hope in the future and we'll meet on the other side of this mortal coil. I believe life and consciousness lives on in some way or another, whether it be through our children or some other form, and in a sense, JP will always be with us and we'll always be part of JP. Rest in Peace, JP, the pain is gone... Love you. Phil

Condolence From: Dr and Mrs Cyril Danjoux
Condolence: Kate and Nina,
We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Jean Pierre.
Jean Pierre bravely endured the symptoms of his disease and put up a brave fight.

Any loss is difficult. We can feel your pain for the loss of a father and husband.
For us the loss is an individual one but for Jean pierre he loses everyone.

We are so lucky to have wonderful memories of better days which we shared together.
As we bid him farewell let us thank him for the wonderful gift of his presence and the great time we had together. This will last us a life time.
Thank you Jean Pierre.

With our sincere condolences
Cyril and Judith
