Coburn, Barbara Joan – Passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer’s at Ajax Pickering Hospital on Tuesday April 7, 2015 surrounded by her family at age 71. Beloved wife of Murray for 50 years. Loved mother of Sherry and her husband Germain Tetreault, and Tammie and her husband Rusty Maynard. Grandma will be truly missed by Rhiannon, Joshua, and her great granddaughter Lexci. Sister of Marie, Geri, Sharon, Wade, Cindy and the late Jud and Jack. The family wishes to thank the nurses at Ajax Pickering Hospital, especially Virginia & Carrie for their kindness and compassion and the staff at Winbourne who took such incredible care of Barbara. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East Oshawa on Friday April 10 from 7 – 9 pm. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday April 11, 2015 at 10 am. Interment Thornton Cemetery.
