Helen June Allan (Gates)
Allan, Helen June – Passed away peacefully after a short illness on March 31, 2015 at the age of 91, surrounded by her loved ones. Loving mother of Bonnie Grozelle (Mike), Caryl Brown (Sam), Elaine Allan (Jim), Jon Allan (Denise), and predeceased by her son Billy Allan. Much loved sister of Patricia Short. Nana Helen will be greatly missed by 18 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Her great spirit will live on. Arrangements entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa. Friends may call at the Quality Hotel; 1011 Bloor street east, Oshawa on Sunday April 12, 2015 from 1-4pm. Memorial donations to the Oshawa Public Library Services for the Blind would be appreciated and may be made, along with condolences, by visiting www.armstrongfuneralhome.net.
